Hi! Thanks for your question :) My group was only in Val Bavona for a short time, maybe 3 hours, but I know that very close to the main waterfall (Cascata di Foroglio) there is a small, old village. I do not think there is a grocery store there for buying food to take with you on a hike, but I remember that there is a café and a souvenir shop. It might be better to prepare a lunch to bring with you! Have fun hiking - it was an amazingly beautiful place and I would love to go back and spend more time there some day :D

Hey friends! I’m going to San Francisco for the summer and started a new blog to record my adventures. I’m gonna keep this new one simple - a photo a day. Here’s the link:

Check it out if you’re interested! (I promise to do a better job with the new one than I did with this one, haha)

Wow! It’s pretty cool that someone actually found this, haha. And yup, I’m a 4th year arch major at Virginia Tech. Switzerland was incredible, and I really wish I had been more diligent about finishing this blog. I might try to do the rest of it over the summer - there’s so much more I should post! As another arch student, you can probably understand why I don’t have time now that I’m back in a normal studio :P And of course, once you’re in Switzerland you’ll also understand why I didn’t actually spend my time working on it while I was there, haha.
Anyway, I’m glad you liked the (few) photos and stories I posted. If you have any more questions feel free to ask, and have an amazing trip!
